LET THE WORD DWELL IN YOU

Memory Verse

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

Message

The Bible says in , “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” The Scripture went further to say, in verse 14 of the same chapter, “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.” When you dwell so much on the word of God that it leaves the pages of the Bible and begins to dwell in you and become so real to you like your own flesh, you will begin to see the glory of God. says:

But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

The more of God’s glory you see, the more you are transformed into His image from glory to glory. Hence, if you want to radiate God’s glory, you must study your Bible daily and meditate on it day and night. The word of God is powerful, and if you allow it to dwell in your heart, you will experience tremendous transformation in every aspect of your life.

The name of the LORD is a strong tower:the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.

The Scripture above tells us that God’s name is so powerful and that it is a fortress that preserves those who run into it. However, as powerful as His name is, says, “I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth:for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.” God’s word is even more powerful than His name. This is why you must not joke with the word of God. says that you should meditate on it day and night so that your ways can be prosperous and you can have good success. Good success implies that there is also bad success. Beloved, only those who allow God’s word to dwell in their hearts and rule their lives can enjoy good success. I pray that you will indeed immerse yourself in the word of God and allow it to dwell richly in your heart so you can enjoy good success in every area of your life, in Jesus’ name.

Key Point:

When you allow God’s word to dwell in you, you will enjoy good success.

Title: ANCIENT WORDS

1. Holy words long preserved
For our walk in this world
They resound with God's own heart
Oh, let the ancient words impart

Chorus:

Ancient words, ever true
Changing me and changing you
We have come with open hearts
Oh, let the ancient words impart

2. Words of life, words of hope
Give us strength, help us cope
In this world, where e'er we roam
Ancient words will guide us home

3.Holy words of our faith
Handed down to this age
Came to us through sacrifice
Oh, heed the faithful words of Christ

4.Holy words long preserved
For our walk in this world
They resound with God's own heart
Oh, let the ancient words impart
