To be repositioned means that a fellow had previously been in a particular position until something happened that led to the fellow being removed from that position before being reinstated to his or her original position. Naturally, this is how people are repositioned. When God wants to reposition a person, however, He will remove the circumstances and/or people that caused the person to lose his or her position and place the person on a higher level.

Today’s Bible reading reveals that Moses became a fugitive due to an incident. He had gone to see his brethren in Egypt, and while he was there, he saw one of them being tormented by an Egyptian and decided to help. In the process, he killed the Egyptian and buried him. The following day, he saw two of his brethren fighting, and he said, “If the enemy is tormenting one of you, we can understand. How can the two of you be tormenting each other?” Then, one of them replied, “Who made you a judge over us? Do you want to kill me the same way you killed that Egyptian yesterday?” Fear gripped Moses as it dawned on him that what he thought was hidden had been exposed, so he fled from Egypt and remained a fugitive for 40 years because Pharaoh wanted to kill him. When the time for his repositioning came, however, Pharaoh died. I pray that God will deal with anyone or anything that has been making life unbearable for you, in Jesus’ name.

When God repositions you, the next thing you should expect is divine visitation. After Moses ran from Pharaoh, he went to Midian, where he became a shepherd. One day, He moved the cattle he was looking after to Mount Horeb. Typically, grass grows well on plains for goats and sheep to graze on, but because God wanted to do a new thing in Moses’ life, He led him to find pasture for the cattle on a mountain (). When the Almighty God wanted to reposition Moses, He ordered his steps to a mountain for an encounter. Similarly, when He wants to reposition you, He will visit you and take you to a higher vantage point where you can experience more of His glory and see things more clearly. I pray that the Lord will reposition you for greatness before the end of this year, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer Point:

Dear Lord, in any area of my life I am misaligned with Your will, please visit me and reposition me for greatness, in Jesus’ name.
