One of the most beautiful things about the word of God is that it produces new beginnings. In , God called to Moses from the midst of a bush and gave him a new beginning. For years, he had been at the backside of the desert, keeping his father-in-law’s flock; however, before that day was over, he had become the leader of a nation. I pray that God will send His word to you to turn your story around for good, in Jesus’ name.
Today’s memory verse tells us that in the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth. However, when you compare with , you will begin to wonder whether there were two different beginnings in the Bible. refers to Jesus as the Word of God, who was with God and was God from the beginning, while describes the beginning of creation. Just as the Word of God brought forth heaven and earth at the beginning of creation, it can create a new beginning in your life, family, ministry, business, health, and other areas of your life. If the Word of God could create heaven and earth, then any negative situation that might exist in your life, no matter how hopeless it may seem, can be recreated by that same Word. Also, no matter how terrible your past may appear to be, the Word of God can give you a new beginning the moment you accept Him as your Lord and personal Saviour. says, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”
In today’s Bible reading, God said that He was there before the first generation and will still be there even after the last generation. He was faithful in the beginning, and He’ll be faithful until the end. In , He declared, “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending…which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.”
Beloved, the One who was there in the beginning can send His Word into your life, and since He is the Resurrection and the Life (), everything that appears dead will be brought back to life. I pray that my Father will go to the beginning of any problem in your life and turn things around for your good, in Jesus’ name.
