Message
There are some testimonies you should not share until they are fully established in your life. During the annual conventions of The Redeemed Christian Church of God, I usually call out people who had been trusting God for the fruit of the womb and had received their miracles. However, I would usually say, “Some people came last year, trusting God for the fruit of the womb. Now, they are pregnant. If you are one of them, please do not come forward yet. Instead, wait until the baby is born.” This is not due to fear of the enemy; it is based on the wisdom that there is a right time for everything ().
Beloved, do not go around announcing to people that your breakthrough is coming. Many enemies are disguised as friends. They can go all out to prevent your breakthrough from coming to pass if they get to know about it. In , Joseph had a dream and shared it with his brothers. The Bible tells us that his brothers, who had hated him because their father loved him more than them, hated him even more because of his dream. They could not bear the thought of having him rule over them, so they sold him into slavery. They tried to stop the manifestation of Joseph’s dream, but eventually, it came to pass. I pray for you today that you will not share your dreams and aspirations with the wrong people. May the Lord give you the wisdom to know when to share a testimony and when to keep quiet, in Jesus’ name.
In , when Elijah decreed that there would be no rain until he said so, the heavens were shut immediately. However, in today’s Bible reading, he told Ahab, “I have heard the sound of abundance of rain,” even when it had not started raining. He announced a miracle when it had not even manifested. Eventually, the man of God had to pray seven times before the rain began to fall. This was someone who declared just once that it would not rain, and heaven was shut for three and a half years.
Beloved, there are some prophecies you should keep to yourself; do not talk your miracles away. Some prophecies should not be revealed to anyone until a manifestation has occurred. There are even miracles that you must not share until God instructs you to do so. Indeed, wisdom is profitable to direct ().
